FAQ

Frequently asked questions about XAUE, tokenized gold, and the protocol.

  • What is XAU₮ (Tether Gold)?

Tether Gold (XAU₮) is a digital token issued by TG Commodities that represents ownership of physical gold. Each XAU₮ token is backed 1:1 by one fine troy ounce of gold stored on a physical bar meeting the London Bullion Market Association Good Delivery standard. XAUE uses XAU₮ as its underlying reserve asset, enabling yield generation directly denominated in gold.

  • Is there a minimum amount to stake?

Yes. The minimum staking amount is 0.001 XAU₮.

  • How do I start earning gold yield?

Institutional participants can mint XAUE directly after completing whitelist verification (see: Q4). Retail users can access XAUE yield through ecosystem integrations, connect your wallet to xaue.com via the Duncan AI Agent, stake XAU₮ to receive XAUE tokens. Yield accrues automatically through XAUE's NAV model, no manual claiming needed.

  • How is my gold kept safe?

The underlying gold is held in XAU₮ tokens, backed by physical gold in Swiss vaults. XAUE smart contracts on Ethereum have been audited. Your XAUE tokens can be self-custodied in any Ethereum-compatible wallet. The underlying XAU₮ is held by independent institutional custodians and is verifiable on-chain at any time.
